Chanel Vitalumiére Aqua Foundation & Rouge Allure Envoûtante Lipstick

I’ve been completely head over heels in love with Chanel make-up recently. I’ve moved away from heavier MAC foundations and opted for a more lightweight Chanel water based foundation instead. I got tired of literally feeling the make-up on my face, I grew tired of feeling like all my pores were clogged. The most important thing to me was to have full coverage but now I’ve opted for a lighter fluid my skin is much better than it was (tempting fate here!) I would definitely recommend Chanel’s Vitalumiére Foundation to all you girls who are sick of heavy bases and want something lighter for summer or for a day to day look. The foundation gives me really great coverage without looking cakey or feeling too prominent on my skin. It really is another natural skin layer over the top of my own. The foundation makes my complexion look really radiant without looking false. Moreover, it’s really great for the summer months because it has SPF 15!

Another product I’ve really been loving form Chanel is their range of Rouge Allure Intense Long Wear Lipsticks. My previous post included a different lipstick to the one in this post (the post is about finding cheaper alternatives to my high end beauty products) and they are both stunning in their pigmentation and packaging. The above lipstick is in the shade Envoûtante which translates from French to mean ‘Mesmerizing’ which I think is lovely! This deep plum has red notes to it and a hint of shimmer. I definitely think I’ll be wearing this shade throughout autumn and winter of this year!

Above is Envoûtante & Vitalumiére Aqua swatched and the foundation is blended on the right hand photo. As you can see there is definitely (build-able) coverage, but one layer is lightweight and perfect for summery, natural glowing skin. I like the Chanel Rouge Allure Lipstick packaging, apparently a lot of people get stuck on how to open these lipsticks, you just push and the gold base of the lipstick holder pops out for you! Nifty.

What do you think of these Chanel products? Would you try either?
