I’ve recently been loving a lot of Chanel make-up products which are much cheaper than you’d imagine them if you have any idea what they’re clothing and accessories cost! One of the products I really like the the Pressed Powder which acts as a mattifying agent on top of your foundation. However, I use it more for the compact mirror than for the actual product, oops.
The products comes with a small applicator sponge but I prefer to use a brush when applying powder as it tends to give off less of a caky and a more natural appearance. I love using this as a top up throughout my day on my T zone as it does really well at mattifying without adding heavy coverage. Whilst I do really like this product I must say there are much more cheaper alternative versions on the high street such as Rimmel’s Stay Matte pressed powder. I use Rimmel all over my foundation initially but then I take the Chanel compact with me for on the go touch ups because of the amazing mirror inside the compact which most high street versions don’t have. I’d definitely recommend this if you need a new compact mirror AND want to try a new powder as I can imagine I’ll keep the compact even when the product has ran out just because the mirror is so good and the packaging is so lovely and classy.
