Guest Post: Soap & Glory Favourites!

Hello everyone! Just a short note from me (Abigail) today. Heather and I decided to collaborate on guest posting on each other’s blog via a bloggers chat on Twitter. You can find Heather over on Of Beauty & Nothingness which is where you’ll also find my guest post on Too Faced! Heather’s going to be telling you all about her fav products from Soap & Glory. Enjoy!

Soap and Glory has been one of my favourite bodycare brands for years, I love their shower gels, body butters and especially their body scrubs which are some of the best I’ve tried (and I’ve tried quite a lot). Since they started their makeup line, I have also been a big fan and some of the products have been favourites for years now!

Bath, Body and Shower

I have bought and received so many Soap and Glory bath and body products as well as their gift sets (which are amazing!) mainly because the products are just so effective but also because the packaging is adorable, they smell so nice and the price point is very reasonable considering the quality. My favourite products from their range include the Hand Food hand cream (which was my holy grail hand cream for so long), the Flake Away scrub and Righteous Butter. The original Soap and Glory scent is just gorgeous and makes the products so much more luxurious to use – I’ve heard that the scent is similar to Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle perfume! I also love their newer Sugar Scrub range which is perfect for summer as it is so fresh, zingy and sweet; the body scrub is particularly good.

The first Soap and Glory makeup item I bought was the eyeshadow quad in the shade ‘what’s nude’ as I am a beauty blogger, I have so many natural/nude eyeshadows but I always need more! Unlike most highstreet or cheaper brands, especially a couple of years ago, this quad isn’t shimmer city – three of the four shades are matte which is amazing and it means that I use it so often. I have hit pan on the Pink T shade and I couldn’t recommend the eyeshadow quad enough. The quality is amazing and on me it doesn’t really need a primer (and everything creases on me) which is very impressive. Their Thick & Fast mascara and Lip Lacquer in Charm Offensive are equally fantastic, the latter is the perfect nude lip lacquer that lasts so well!

Overall, I cannot recommend Soap and Glory products enough, especially their eyeshadows, lip products and body scrubs. I think the quality and effectiveness is amazing along with their cute, retro and witty product packaging. I have so many products from Soap and Glory on my wish list such as their one heck of a blot powder which I’ve heard nothing but great things about and their new Archery sculpting brow crayon, one heck of a blot primer and the sexy motherpucker gloss sticks!
