My New Skincare Favourites

Hey guys! Today I am so excited to introduce to you some amazing skincare products from Les Soins de Jacynthe founded by Jacynthe Rene. I’ve been using these religiously for the past two weeks and the difference in my skin is definitely noticeable. I had never heard of this brand before but I was really excited to try them out when I saw glowing testimonies to her products online…

I was sent three Jacynthe products but unfortunately the cleanser was not suited to my skin type. The cleanser was a little too thick for my liking when I’m very used to watery cleansers that are often foaming ones. I think that the cleanser would work so well on people who love thick cleansers that really loves a thick deep cleanse and who adored natural oils in their cleansers.

Whilst the cleanser did not suit my skin type I absolutely adored the other two products and they’ve become a staple in my routine. The first one I would love to talk about is the Eau florale de Rose which is a toning water that is infused with the serum that I use post-toning. The toner comes with a little spritz nozzle that diffuses the product really well and creates a really even cloud of the product. I really don’t like when toner’s nozzles don’t work properly and I end up squirting a lot of product in one area but this created a really fine mist. The toner smelt of roses with hints of other flowers. However, the rose scent was not overpowering as most rose products are, in fact it was very fresh smelling and left my skin feeling refreshed afterwards. I’m definitely going to be taking this with me on long haul flights as my skin sometimes gets tired and groggy and I imagine this would freshen it up really nicely.

The serum was definitely my favourite product of the three. It comes with a little pipette dropper that picks up the amber coloured liquid really easily. I use 3-4 drops of this which covers my face and neck. The serum smells like the toner but just a little stronger as the formula is more potent. The serum contains ingredients like evening primrose oil, borage, buckthorn & Rosehip CO2 extracted, he sandalwood, rose, natural vitamin E and rosemary oleoresin. The serum itself is incredibly hydrating and nourishing to the skin. After just one application my skin felt so soft after about an hour. It took around 5 minutes for the serum to sink into the skin so I leave around 15 minutes in the morning to let the serum absorb into my skin before applying make-up. After a few weeks of using this the clarity of my skin has improved immensely. I was actually surprised at the difference it made. I haven’t broken out, it’s reduced redness in my skin and made my face feel SO soft – I really wish you could feel it just so you can see but you’ll have to take my word for it. Because the serum is so nourishing I’ve found that my skin creates less oil throughout the day to compensate for dryness meaning that my skin isn’t looking oily or shiny which is always a concern of mine when I use products with oils in them.
