ChiChi London Get it Right Again!
Hey everyone! So winter is officially here and it’s about time I forgot about florals and short dresses, right? Wrong. I will never forget them. My Northern blood and my affinity for choosing weatherproof jackets keep me warm in the coldest of temperatures meaning I still rock dresses into Winter. I know, I’m insane.
I’m so happy to share with you a dress I actually won on Twitter – yes Twitter! I hardly ever win anything so it was such an amazing feeling to me messaged that I won the beautiful Rach dress from ChiChi London. It retails for £60 which I think is a great price for the quality of the material. I have only ever shopped with ChiChi once before and it was for a Bridesmaid dress which was absolutely gorgeous. I’m really glad to have another in my collection and the fact that it was free makes it that much sweeter!
I think this dress would be perfect if you’re going to an event like a wedding or something on the more formal cocktail side. ChiChi is pretty good for those kinds of events and I’m also eyeing up a couple of their dresses that are in the sale with Christmas in mind. I absolutely love dressing up on Christmas and New Year and since I’m on vacation for it I can get away with the dresses! I love the colour and print of this dress. It’s like a minty Tiffany blue with pale cream and blue roses printed on it. The cut of it is so classy and flattering too. It cinches on the waist and pushes itself out on the skirt which really suits my pear shaped body type.
I paired this with my favourite coat. It’s a lovely white piece from Burberry that has wool on the top of it. It’s super warm and keeps all of the wind out meaning I was actually pretty toasty when I was taking photos! I would highly recommend pairing winter dresses with a thick coat. Preferably with some faux fur on it as it acts as a great wind break. You can also add a couple of pairs of skin coloured tights to keep the chill off your legs. A cute shawl to wrap around your back and carry on your arms would also keep you snug!
Have you guys bought from ChiChi yet? What do you think of them? Do you know of any similar brands I can check out for Christmas dresses?
