A Girly Brunch at Bronte, the Strand

Hey everyone! It’s been a while since I sat down and wrote a blog post, most of the ones that have been published lately have been scheduled. The reason being is that I’ve had a lot going on at University lately and my grandad passed away a few weeks ago. I spent a lovely day in London last Saturday with my mom and a couple of friends and then came home with her afterwards. Anyway, all is on the up right now! I wanted to share wth you a lovely brunch I had in London with my mom and a couple of her friends.

I saw Bronte on a tagged photo on Instagram and thought it would be perfect for a girly brunch out. My mom, her friend from work and her son Callum met me outside Bronte. We arrived at about 10.30am and managed to beat the rush. After 11am it got so busy in there! Bronte is very spacious on the inside and even has some outside seating with blankets to keep you warm.

The interior of Bronte is absolutely gorgeous. It opens up into a large room with the kitchen on the right. You go down a small flight of stairs and the back of Bronte opens up into this huge space with a massive bar on the back wall. The chairs are baby pink 70’s style and you have these emerald green booths lining the walls. All in all its really cute style decor that feels both stylish and super comfy.

I ordered the Avocado and Poached Eggs on Toast which tasted so good! I’ve also never had eggs with Hollandaise sauce on before but I really enjoyed it – I didn’t think I would. My mom had the Full Bronte breakfast which is in one of the photos too. I’m a vegetarian so didn’t order that. If you are a Vegetarian then don’t worry as Bronte has a wide range of choice for you. I ordered a Cappuccino which happened to be one of the best coffee’s I’ve had in a while. My mom peer pressured me into getting a cocktail as well as her. It was a rum based one with ginger, Turkish delight and this delish gold sugar coating.

We all really enjoyed our brunch at Bronte and I’ll definitely go back with a friend sometime soon. If you have any brunch recommendations in London or Manchester let me know down below!

  • I’m sorry to hear about your grandad, Abigail, I hope he’s in better place. The meal look so appetizing! I’m surprised you haven’t tried egg with Hollandaise, it’s my favorite (guilty) combination, and it tastes so good. Glad you enjoy it!
