Don’t worry this isn’t one of those Tea-toxes. We all know by now that our body detoxes on its own (provided you have at least one kidney and a liver which I assume you do). However, I have always wanted to incorporate fitness products into my diet and when the opportunity for me to try NutriBuddy’s range arose I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see how this would effect my workouts and fitness journey.

The Weight Loss Kit contains Sculpting Whey Powder which is a product I’ve always wanted to try. As a Vegetarian it can be difficult to get all the protein I need so any extra is great. Plus, I really want to examine how a whey shake can affect the recovery time for my muscles after a workout. I added the protein in this Smoothie Bowl pictured above and it tasted amazing. The added vanilla made it extra sweet which satisfied my sweet tooth. I also got a little water bottle with a shaker inside that I can keep my smoothies in.

The kit also contained MultiVitamins to be taken once a day which contains everything your body needs for the day. This is a great little addition to ensure that you’re getting the vitamins you need when you’re watching your weight. It’s important to be healthy when you’re exercising and eating differently than before. The kit also contains Hunger Fix capsules which act as appetite suppressants. I’ve tried Sea Kelp vitamins before to help support weight management and I believe these are along the same kind of lines.

I’ve been going to the gym 5 times per week and varying my workouts. HIIT sessions in combination with weight training and Yoga. I’ve also been running a lot as I want to get my 5k time back to below 25 mins. I’m feeling really positive about my fitness goals and really hope I can make some noticeable progress this year.

Comment challenge: Do you guys buy fitness products like this? Or tea toxes, even? What do you think of them?

  • I haven’t bought anything like this in my life, but I always wanted to try some tea detox. The only reason why I haven’t buying it yet is the little worm in my head telling me “does it really work? Isn’t it a waste of money?” So who knows if I’ll ever try something like this in future. x

    • Teatoxes don’t, your body naturally detoxes by itself provided you have a liver and at least one kidney. Your body becomes reliant on the laxative in the tea so they aren’t a good idea. But protein and vitamins are so different from teatoxes!

    • I was SO sad after two years of no running I was so slow at a 5k but last week i managed it in 28mins so im hoping to shimmy that time down by the end of the month! Good look with that mojo!

  • Well done you, I need to do some major shake ups when it comes to my gym routine, I really want to be fitter and in a better place. I have tried some teas but find most things to be a fad and part of me hates the idea of relying on anything else to lose weight as I can never be 100% sure what it is doing to my body so I am a little weary. This sounds super healthy though, thanks for sharing xxx

    • I definitely think teas are a fad but something like protein is science! I’ve been really enjoying incorporating it into my diet!
