I absolutely love good art prints in an apartment. They look fantastic, especially if they have a theme (which is what I tried to go for with Desenio!). I saw a blog post a couple of weeks ago from a blogger I just happened to stumble upon. It featured some really cute and pretty fashion-eque prints from a brand called Desenio.
It was the first time I had heard of the brand and that blogger – but the post stuck. Good quality, pretty prints are hard to come by. If you do they can sometimes have a sky high price that just isn’t reasonable. Especially if you’re a fan of framed prints. So I certainly owe it to Desenio for having high quality prints that are also at a great price point.
Having the perfect space that’s comfy and also a reflection of my personality is so key to feeling at home in a new place. I knew I wanted to decorate my apartment with some sexy, cool and slightly fashion based prints.
I’ve been saying it a lot lately and I’m saying it again in this post; I cannot wait to move into my apartment. I’m getting bored of seeing myself type it and say it but it’s such a huge achievement and I cannot wait. Having the perfect space that’s comfy and also a reflection of my personality is so key to feeling at home in a new place. I knew I wanted to decorate my apartment with some sexy, cool and slightly fashion based prints. Desenio offers so many prints in different categories that it was actually really hard for me to narrow down my choice.
I decided to go with a sexy vibe, that also payed homage to a place I really and completely fell in love with when I lived there; Los Angeles. There were a lot of prints that fit into this category for me to choose from. But I went with these four. The palm tree print instantly reminds me of LA. The body print, with the woman holding the cigarette I think is so beautiful. It’s effortlessly sexy, which is often what I try and fail at! The kissing print has to be my favourite and the print with the triangle lip I thought looked pretty edgy and cool. They all have something relatively in common and so I think they work really well as a foursome around my space.
The Desenio goodies arrived in a huge box. It was really well packaged, so there’s no risk of your frames being broken. The posters themselves were all wrapped up together in a tube meaning that they weren’t damaged or creased. Popping them into the frames and getting the alignment correct was very easy. There was also a plastic film on the frames so there were no finger print marks or scratches on the frames at all. The frames were made of a light wood so they are easy to hang up as they don’t put a strain on your hanging arrangement due to weight.

The posters themselves were very well printed. There were absolutely no smudges or printing errors. I know sometimes printing things online can be a huge hit and miss. I’ve had a few instances where printing holiday photos has gone amok online! The poster paper is quite thick and glossy which I think looks really fab. All in all, I cannot wait to get these into my apartment. I think they look chic and pretty and I haven’t seen anything like them in stores!
