Ironically, since being sent a code to review CaseApp I started managing the social media for a company who makes phone cases. Albeit not a company that makes customisable ones like CaseApp does! In working for this new brand called Pout Case, I’ve learned a lot about what goes into case making. Design and function are huge and Case App has them both.
I previously tried a laptop skin from CaseApp which I gifted to my best friend and she absolutely loves it. So this time when working them I decided to be a little selfish and treat myself to a couple of cases!
I switch my phone case fairly frequently, every three or four months or so. I get bored of seeing a certain design every day but I still keep them in case I want to go back to it. To switch things up with my cases I decided for a pink and green theme with this banana leaf print. If last year for bloggers was the era of the marble background, then this year had been the one for palm leaf and banana print.
To be honest, I underuse my iPad a lot. I wish I got more use out of it but I need to invest in one of those bluetooth keyboards so I can write blog posts on the go. Therefore, my iPad case in the past was just a really cheap one from Amazon. It was just a plain pale blue colour and didn’t really offer anything at all in terms of function.
With CaseApp I decided to go for synergy in creating two cases that were the same design. I think it looks good when they’re paired together and no one would know I had two of the same design when I don’t have them both on me. The iPad skin is quite textured, it feels very durable and certainly hasn’t damaged or showed any signs of wear. I have the iPad with me in Morocco and the skin looks as good as new (as does the iPhone one for that matter).
The phone case is made out of a smoother material than the iPad case. It feels very durable, not like the cheap plastic ones you sometimes find on Amazon or Ebay!
I would wholeheartedly recommend designing your own cases and skins with CaseApp. The printing is high quality. The cases are affordable and I love that you can choose exactly what you want to be printed. The shipping also arrives quickly. You also have the option of choosing pre-made designs if you’re lacking in inspiration.
