I hope you’re doing well! Doesn’t this weekend feel like it’s lasting forever? I love it!
I’ve had a nice and relaxing weekend at home instead of going away and yesterday me and Jay went out to explore some areas of Notting Hill that we haven’t had a chance to go around yet. One of the highlights for us was discovering all the great charity shops around Westbourne Green. I picked up a couple of old fashion catalogues from the 90’s from Emporio Armani and DKNY. The photography in them is amazing and they were only £3 each!
One of the highlights of our yesterday was definitely picking up 4 doughnuts from Doughnut Time on Blenheim Crescent (just behind the Electric Cinema on Portobello Road Market). I recently transitioned into Veganism after a a fair few years of being Vegetarian. I think today marks my fifth day as plant based. Whereas Jay transitioned around 3 months ago and I’ve been inspired to follow in his footsteps.
One of my main concerns with going plant based was my concern that nothing would quite satisfy my sweet tooth. I love dessert in restaurants and a family bag of Caramel nibbles. I was worried that there weren’t enough Vegan sweet treats around to satisfy my sweet tooth…
But I was happy to hear that Doughnut Time has several Vegan options on its menu! They had 6 Vegan doughnut options when we visited, with my favourite being the Houston We Have Biscoff! Others include the magically named Cornelius Fudge, Berry Seinfeld, Pump Up the Jam, and Sia Later. So even if you aren’t Vegan there’s more than enough options for you to sink your teeth into if you’re in the mood for something Vegan when you visit.
I’ve wanted to visit Doughnut Time ever since I walked past their store near Old St. so I was so happy to see that they had more than one Vegan option. A lot of places are getting a lot better at providing these options, but don’t offer much variety but that really wasn’t the case yesterday!
I’d highly recommend grabbing a couple of Doughnut’s from Doughnut Time if you’re in the area. If you’re non-Vegan there are more options at the store for you too! Sadly, I am not sponsored by Doughnut Time, although if you somehow work at DT and find this post you can find my email pretty easily on the site ?
What have you been up to this weekend? Let me know what you think of the look of these doughnuts in the comments!
