What’s your favourite social media platform? What’s your least favourite? Which ones do you end up spending the most time on? Or the most time investing in?
If Instagram isn’t the answer to at least one of those questions I’d be very, very shocked. It’s the place to be, it’s developing at a rapid pace and introducing new features from other platforms where we once thought it wouldn’t succeed. But it can be the trickiest platform to grow on. So how did I go from under 1k to over 6.5k in just a few short months?

Instagram has always been that platform that people love to hate, but people can’t delete it. It is addictive and, in my opinion, the best social media platform out there. It is true that it has become increasingly difficult to grow on Instagram. Even since the dreaded algorithm was introduced people blame the platform for their low engagement and loss of followers. But there are a few ways to tackle that and after a lot of research into the algorithm and a fair bit of experimentation I’ve learned some tricks that have worked wonders for me. So much so that I’m now experiencing the best growth on Instagram, ever.

My goal is to grow by another 5k in three months. This is a bit of stretch but I love using social media and planning my content. Especially when it’s warm outside and so much more fun to take photos.
