Up until very recently my experience with NARS make-up had been, well, nonexistent. Sure I knew all about NARS products and how highly they were rated by other bloggers. However, I also knew how expensive their products are. Dare I say, overpriced?
All I know is that I’m happy paying a decent wage for good products however, I can find quality products that are just as good as or are better than NARS products for a lower price. A few weeks ago I saw a gorgeous offer on ASOS make-up for a box of 3 NARS products for a mere 29£. It was the perfect opportunity to get some NARS without feeling like I had been ripped off!
Needless to say I fell in love with Super Orgasm blush. The shade is perfect for my porcelain skin colour, yet again this kind of pink suits most skin tones. I love the glittery effect of this blush. When set in its case the glitter may look a bit much, but when applied your cheeks are given a shimmer. The blush is reminiscent of Benefit’s Bella Bamba to me (Bella Bamba is 23.50£) Bella Bamba is slightly more expensive than Super Orgasm yet you get more in the tub.
Have a read about the NARS lipstick that came with the set from ASOS
I love this shade for both evening and day time wear. It can be applied lightly for a slight pink colour to the cheeks for during the day or a bit more heavily for a night time look. I would definitely recommend this blush, however, I would only recommend it if it came part of a set. It is definitely not worth paying £21.50 for this blush. Other alternatives include: MAC Pink Swoon or Fleur Power £18 & Bourjois Little Round Pot Blush in 15 Rose Eclat £7.99.
This is the gorgeous set I got from ASOS for 29£. ASOS is definitely worth a quick scan before you buy make-up from NARS. You may find a lovely bargain!
Any blushes that you would like to recommend? What do you think of Super Orgasm?
